The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) amended the PNGRB (Determination of Natural Gas Pipeline Tariff) rules to incorporate laws about a uniform tariff for natural gas pipelines, with the aim of “One Nation, One Grid, and One Tariff.”

PNGRB has developed a levelised unified pricing of Rs 73.93/MMBTU and three tariff zones for the unified tariff, according to the rules.

The first zone extends up to 300 kilometers from the gas source, the second 300-1,200 kilometers, and the third beyond 1,200 km.
