“The Magic Treadmill” is a beautiful moral story for kids that teaches the value of kindness, honesty, and hard work. The story follows two brothers—Ram and Shyam—who live in a village during Diwali. Ram is rich but selfish, while Shyam is poor yet kind.
One day, Shyam helps an old man in the forest. As a reward, he receives a secret that leads him to a magic treadmill inside a glowing cave. This treadmill produces anything he wishes—rice, wheat, clothes, and more. Shyam uses it wisely and becomes successful through honesty and effort.
But Ram, driven by greed, steals the treadmill and misuses it. He does not know how to stop it, and his greed leads to disaster. In the end, Shyam lives peacefully, while Ram pays the price for his dishonesty.
Moral: Kindness brings true success, but greed can destroy everything.
